This 70% drinking cacao blend is made from pure cacao mass, combined with panela and a carefully selected blend of chilli spices, originating in Chiapas, Mexico. The cacao is non-alkalized and full-fat, preserving its natural cacao butter content, flavour complexity, and aromatic depth without chemical treatment. We do not use any refined white sugar – only panela, which preserves a more complex flavour and reflects the natural origin of the cacao.
Panela, an unrefined sugar cane juice, provides rounded sweetness that balances cacao’s natural bitterness while allowing the spices to fully express themselves. The spice blend — chilli, cayenne pepper, and nutmeg — adds warmth, depth, and a stimulating finish, creating a cacao that is both comforting and invigorating.
With a natural cacao butter content of approximately 52%, the cacao delivers a rich mouthfeel and supports the absorption of naturally occurring nutrients. Natural cacao is valued for its content of antioxidants, theobromine, and essential minerals – especially magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron, and is traditionally associated with sustained energy, focus, and overall well-being. It also contains a wide spectrum of vitamins, particularly A, B1, B2, B3, C and E. Unlike alkalized cocoa powders, this cacao preserves its natural colour, aroma, and complexity, making it ideal for authentic cacao drinks and chocolate preparations.

Chilli cacao builds on the ancient combination of cacao and chilli, which has been used since pre-Columbian times in Central and South America. Chilli and cayenne pepper are traditionally valued for their stimulating and warming effects, while nutmeg adds aromatic depth and balance.
The chilli used in this blend is carefully selected chilli sourced from the Mexican state of Chiapas, a region known for its rich culinary tradition and high-quality spices. These spices are known for their anti-inflammatory and circulation-supporting properties, which naturally enhance the already powerful anti-inflammatory effects of pure, non-alkalized cacao. Together, they create an energising blend that awakens the senses and supports both body and focus.
