Our Crunchy Cacao is made from high-quality cacao beans sourced from the Caquetá region of southern Colombia. After light roasting, the beans are coated in a crunchy caramelised layer, creating a product that combines the intensity of cacao with a satisfying, crisp texture, while retaining all the health benefits of natural cacao. The crunchy coating is made using panela, an unrefined dried sugar cane juice, together with natural dark chocolate components - natural cacao mass and cocoa powder. This process forms a thin, brittle shell around each cacao bean, delivering a clean snap and crunch with every bite while protecting the aromatic core of the bean.
The result is a cacao snack that is neither natural roasted cacao bean nor conventional chocolate, but a unique product in between: crunchy, aromatic, naturally sweetened, and rich in cacao flavour. Crunchy Cacao is intended first and foremost for direct consumption, but its texture and flavour also make it suitable as a topping or ingredient.
Cacao beans are naturally rich in magnesium, potassium, iron, antioxidants, and theobromine.
