Crunchy Nibs are made from premium fino de aroma cacao beans, which are gently roasted and then crushed into nibs to allow faster flavour release and a more intense cacao experience.
After crushing, the nibs are coated in a crunchy caramelised layer made with panela, an unrefined dried sugar cane juice. This creates a brittle, crisp shell that balances cacao’s natural bitterness with subtle sweetness while preserving the aromatic core of the cacao.
Compared to whole crunchy beans, Crunchy Nibs offer a more direct, concentrated cacao flavour, making them ideal for those who enjoy intensity, texture, and a clean ingredient list. They are suitable both for direct consumption and as an ingredient in sweet and savoury applications.
